FIABCI-Malaysia: Discovery Tour to Gamuda Wetlands Arboretum & Splashmania Water Park
A technical visit to Gamuda Cove was conducted on 31st July 2025. The participants were brought to visit Wetlands Arboretum Centre, winner of Malaysia Property AwardTM 2024, Environmental Category, showcasing the integration of sustainability, landscape architecture, eco-tourism, and township development. The program began with a warm welcome and project briefing by representatives from Gamuda Parks, followed by an insightful video presentation on the Wetlands Arboretum initiative.
Participants were divided into two groups to experience interactive sessions at the Wetlands Arboretum Centre, focusing on Sustainability Implementations and a guided tour of the Arboretum Gallery. The site’s commitment to environmental education and biodiversity conservation was clearly demonstrated.
A safari truck ride took participants deeper into the wetlands for guided visits to the Biotope Gardens and Play House, highlighting landscape features designed for both ecological function and community engagement.
The next stop was Splashmania, where participants received a briefing on the project’s development and operations, followed by a tour of the water park facility — a key component of Gamuda Cove’s recreational offerings.
The participants were then brought to the Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery (GCEG), where they were introduced to the township’s masterplan, scale models, and the immersive Dark Room Experience.
This visit offered FIABCI-Malaysia members an enriching look at how large-scale developments like Gamuda Cove integrate sustainability, placemaking, and lifestyle components. It reflects FIABCI’s commitment to showcasing innovative urban solutions and fostering knowledge-sharing among property professionals.
