Prix d’Excellence: FIABCI-Austria awards 5 outstanding projects in 2022 edition
On Thursday, 20 October, the 2022 edition of the FIABCI-Austria Prix d’Excellence Awards took place. The ceremony, which was attended by 230 guests, recognised five winners out of 15 carefully selected finalists. The chapter's national Prix is of the utmost importance to demonstrate Austria's willingness to innovate in the real estate environment and to applaud project developers, architects and owners.
An interdisciplinary jury selected the 15 finalists, which were presented through short videos displayed during the exclusive gala evening, from around 45 submitted projects. The five winning projects were then announced and presented with the coveted award for outstanding real estate projects that embody excellence in all disciplines involved in their creation.
Every single one of the 15 finalists who made it to the final stands for the Austrian spirit of innovation. They have all created buildings that focus on people and not just technology, while still implementing exemplary aspects of sustainability, energy efficiency and future-oriented technologies.
The support of many well-known sponsors, including IMMOunited, the main sponsor, was crucial in organising and promoting this award ceremony and nationwide competition. “We see how innovative the winning projects think in terms of digitisation and how they sustainably enrich the lives of residents and users through the skilful use of technology. By recognising those projects, the Prix contributes to market transparency and thus sets the course for further innovations and sustainable further development," said Andreas Millonig, COO of IMMOunited.
