FIABCI Rendez-vous #3: Jordi Ribó

Jordi Ribó, newly elected FIABCI World President and real estate expert from Andorra, is the special guest of the third episode of FIABCI Rendez-vous, a series of interviews with real estate experts from different backgrounds on different topics concerning the industry. Each episode is released monthly (on the last Thursday of the month) on the FIABCI YouTube channel.

 

About Jordi Ribó

Jordi Ribó is an expert on the real estate sector in Andorra.

He started his career in the Marketing field in Dublin. In 2005 he returned to Andorra where since then he directs as CEO of a family group of enterprises engaged in brokerage, property management, and project development.

Ribó is deeply involved in the development of real estate, both in Andorra and worldwide.

In parallel, since 2014 Jordi Ribó took the position of CEO at SCAN S.L. Managing & Development of Real Estate and since 2017 is also Project Manager of Sol i Terra S.L. Real Estate Development.

He is the Vice-President of the Association of Real Estate Agents and Managers of Andorra (AGIA). Member of FIABCI since 2013, he is now the Vice-President of FIABCI-Andorra, after having been its President from 2016 to 2019. Since 2015 he is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services (CCIS) of the Principality of Andorra where he takes part in the plenary assembly since May 2021.

At a global level, Jordi Ribó has held various directive positions within FIABCI. In particular, he is a Member of the Board of Directors since 2017, President of the Conferences Committee from 2017 to 2019, and President of the Strategic Planning Committee 2019-2020. He was also the chairman of the Organizing Committee of the FIABCI World Congress held in Andorra in 2017.

Jordi Ribó shares the concerns and positions of FIABCI and is a staunch advocate of good practices in the industry with the aim to strengthen the reputation of our profession and to generate responsible business focused on the new trends and innovations in this field.

After studying Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations at ESERP in Barcelona, Jordi Ribó graduated in Management & Public Relations at the Queen’s University in Belfast. He speaks Catalan, Spanish, French, English.

In 2017, he was awarded the FIABCI Medal of Honor.
