Official visits mark delegation's trip to Beirut
Earlier this month, World President Walid Moussa met with the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Harriri to announce the call for a FIABCI International Board Meeting to take place in Beirut, and so the FIABCI delegation traveled to Lebanon on September 18 as previously announced for the FIABCI Board Meeting and Trade Mission.
FIABCI-Arabic Countries organized a busy three-day trip for the delegation, who traveled from countries such as Ukraine or the United States for the occasion. Waiting for them was a packed agenda of official government visits, presentations and project tours.
The mission started with an official visit to the President of the Lebanese Republic General Michel Aoun, followed by an official visit to the Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Bteish and to the Beirut’s Governor Ziad Chebib.
World President Walid Moussa also had the opportunity to show the FIABCI members – many of whom were in Lebanon for the first time – some of the most important sites of his hometown Beirut.
The FIABCI Board Meeting took place as scheduled on September 20 at the Hilton Beirut Downtown Hotel. Real estate presentations by Property Finder, Mr. Mounir Douaidy and Anthony Stephan followed, and the day finished with a property tour.
