The Santo Domingo Institute of Technology (INTEC) is a private university which was established in 1972 by a group of young professionals. It was founded as an innovative establishment whose whose objectives are to encourage the country’s social transformation, enhance the quality of life of its inhabitants and preserve the Dominican Republic’s intellectual and historical heritage. INTEC proposes postgraduate programs, short refresher courses as part of continuing education and scientific research activities.
