The Tanzania Institution of Valuers and Estate Agents (TIVEA) has 29 corporate members and 250 individual members. Its corporate members engage in the whole range of real estate activities including asset valuations, property management, estate agency, land administration, facilities management, premises management and project appraisals and its individual members have graduate qualifications in land management and valuation.
TIVEA is committed to supporting and protecting te interests of the profession as well as upholiding a high code of professional conduct. TIVEA has forged relations with professional counterparts through the African Real Estate Society (AFRES) and represents the Africa region to the International Valuation Standards Committee (IVSC).
